Dr. Matthew Robbins of the Robbins Chiropractic Center in Northwest Tucson has over 35 years of experience in caring for patients. Highly Skilled and Extensive Training in Chiropractic Care
Dr. Robbins attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa and has been trained in the traditional Palmer method. He has many years of additional training in the Gonstead technique taught at Mt. Horeb Wisconsin by the Cox brothers.
For people that may not like the traditional type of osseous spinal adjustments, Dr. Robbins has been trained in the Koren Specific Technique (KST) which uses an adjusting instrument that produces a mild tapping on the spine to move the bones. Dr. Robbins has also been trained in cranial adjusting and the Kaufman Pain Neutralization Technique which is a form of myofascial release. In addition, he utilizes low-level cold laser therapy to help with healing and pain control.

About Dr. Matthew Robbins “Doc”
Dr. Matthew Robbins was born in Chicago, Illinois. In 1988, Dr. Robbins graduated Cum Laude honors from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa where he also served on the executive council of The Palmer Gonstead Club. While in school, he attended numerous seminars in Mt. Horeb, WI (known as the “hub” of Gonstead) and he continues to update his training in the Gonstead Method. Dr. Robbins predominantly uses The Gonstead method and the KST Instrument Adjusting Technique, and has also been trained in SOT and Activator. Dr. Robbins has also been personally trained by Dr. Kaufman in the Pain Neutralization Technique™ and Manual Spinal Nerve Block Technique™.
He has four children, Josef, Sofia, Nikolai and Daniel.
The Doc’s hobbies include motorcycle riding and range target shooting. He is a former competitive body builder and power-lifter and presently continues his weight and fitness routines.
